You can´t control the ocean, but you can tame your waves

Gabriel Medina

Once upon a time, a boy with an indomitable personality from Maresias´ Beach.

He brought so much energy that he truly believe he was carying a storm inside his chest.

One day, the boy discovered the surf. And he understood that force of nature that inhabited his body and soul.

The storm inside of us means the opportunity
to tame the unattainable.

The sea is one of the most indomitable things.
Who was born and lives near the beach knows this.

To tame the waves means challenging yourself,
To overcome and understanding the own
ability to create storms.

For that, surf is the perfect path.
The sea is a moving road.

With talent, strengh and struggle, you can
not control the ocean, but you can tame your waves.

As Gabriel Medina, that, with discipline, passion
and the fundamental support from the family, became the first brazilian world surf champion.

The Gabriel Medina Institute is born with all
that strengh and energy and comes to inspire
the new surfers.

The boy from Maresias found your way of
sharing the good wins, that this new enterprise
brings on the crest of his projects.

Gabriel is a boy who still has a lot to conquer.

Through the Institute he will let a legacy of love
for the sport and will retribute to surf and to the surfers the indomitable years lived in the perfect storm.
